Yesterday
Supposed to meet Buta, Chih Yong, Jia Wei & Ed at Yishun MRT at 9am but i left house at almost 9.

By the time i walked to the bus stop, the bus reached but i was lazy to run.. so waited for the other bus. I was the latest, expected lah. LOL~

We boarded the wrong side of the train when we alighted at Jurong East to change train. So, we had to wait for the next train to arrive.

Reached SP and had to do student pass.


We took instant photos and they gave us our student pass on the spot.

After making the student pass, we had to go to 5 other rooms and check it out (yo.. yo!).
The ppl in each room psychoed us to join their own Freshmen Orientation Camp.
Pathetic.
I was so willing to go initially, until JW and CY told me they couldn't make it, Ed & Buta didn't feel like going.
Haiz.

We entered the last room and the entrance's like Haunted House.
Pitch dark with smoke and some eerie sound effects. Kinda cool.
We didn't sign up for any of the camps until we entered the last room cos we were kind of forced to, you know?

It's like they carried on talking and persuading us for a freaking 1/2hr to join them. So yea, $5 for a camp.
It's the cheapest camp lah.

We received a goodie bag each except for Ed because he hasn't received his receipt from SP, which allowed us to exchange for one.
Inside each goodie bag contained a notebook, pens, towel, and a dry-fit shirt.
We were all damn SURPRISED to see the dry-fit shirt! Really cool and nice.
Totally free of charge!!

We took a look at the CCAs and the laptops. I wanna join Guitar Club & Dancing Club!!
Btw, we were told that SP has got pool rooms, rooms for Kbox-ing, swimming pool, etc.

He was sitting right behind me and i didn't realise until 10mins later.
And i went, "AAA....!!!!"

Then he saw me and he copied my reaction cos i think he'd already saw me before i did. So, chatted a lil'. He asked me which course i was in and he told me he was in Aerospace if i'm not wrong.

Headed back home after lunch.

Monday
Mom asked me to go out and shop with her tgt with 2 of her colleagues. We went to her ex-office at Bugis and then, met Aunty Phyllis. Walked tgt to the prawn noodle shop to meet Aunty Elaine and her daughter.

Sunday
Went to church with Jill for service. Buta and Alfred couldn't make it. While walking out, i saw someone in white cap, white tee and stripped-shorts.
WOW.
Took a peep and that face looked familiar.

Walked out of the church and then i saw him with 2 other girls. Voice sounded familiar too.
And then, he saw me and i smiled at him, can't remember his name. Sms-ed Buta and he told me it's Mr. Kasson.

MR KASSON?! LOLS!!

S'pore's really small.

So, he asked me how i did for O's and i told him i got 9 points for R4. He cua sai lah!
He asked me where i'm posted to so i said SP's DBF tgt with Buta.
Mr Kasson told me he's now in NTU.

Mom came back from work just 1/2hr ago.
She told me that an ex-Naval Base Pri. teacher and an ex-NBP girl had an affair when the girl was only primary 5!
They dated for a few years and soon, she got pregnant.
The teacher left her.
He's gone to some school in Jurong.
Sad thing is we're not sure which school he's attached to right now.
The girl's currently in IMH.
The girl's mother called NBP today to ask my mom for tt bastard's number.
She called him but he rejected the calls.

The teacher-student affair started 10 years ago. And today, both have fallen apart.

Mom said that NBP's principal expected sth like that to happen...

Me: Eh? Then why she didn't stop the teacher?
Mom: No.. the principal knew sth like that will happen but she didn't know who the teacher was messing with.
Me: Then.. now call him lah.
Mom: That girl's mother already tried to call him already lah. But he just don't want to pick up. What can we do?

How could he be soooo cunning to talk a Pri. 5 girl into a relationship when he jolly well knew she wasn't mature to think at that time.

Curse that teacher.

I've finished Torey Hayden's Twilight Children within 5 days.
Hmm.. not bad.
Am now reading Ghost Girl written by the same author.
I was only at Chapt 4 when i felt the chill.

The main characters are Torey and a girl named Jade, everyone calls her Jadie. She never stands up straight. She hunches "to keep her insides from falling out."
So, Torey's an austisic teacher and when she teaches, she puts a video recorder in the classroom so that after class, she'll watch the video and observe what minor/major details she didn't notice because she's always engrossed in teaching and she'll pay little attention to the surrounding.

So, one day, during break, she watched the video in the room while the children were outside.

I stood up to go turn the lights back on, but before i could move more than a pace or two from my chair, a picture came back on the screen. I halted midstep.

Then i startled. This was our room, at a slight different angle. The camera must have been bumped. The machine must have been running when the overhead lights were off. But how? When? I distinctly remembered turning if off before going to lunch. In fact, my looming form approaching the camera was recorded.

"OOOOOOOoooooo," came a small, disembodied voice off-screen.

Jadie paused and for a second or two simply faced the camera. Then, turning, she took two pencils off an adjacent table. Pressing one lenth-ways against her upper lip and the other in the same fashion against the lower, she turned her lips outward to create a grotesquely exaggerated mouth.

"Help me,' she was saying, almost sighing. "Help me, help me, help me, help me, help me..."
Coming nearer and nearer until all that was visible on the scareen was a mouth forming the same words over and over again. "Help me, help me, help me, help me, help me..." Then the monitor went black.

Only then, when the screen turned to snow, and white noise buzzed in my ears, did i realize that throughout the whole eerie epidosde, Jade hand been standing upright.

CUA SAI LAH! WALAO~ Heng that time Ryan came into the room to take his uniform. I picked out some parts and read to him and he looked shocked.

Another spooky part:

Seeing that she was becoming agitated, i quickly changed tack. "So Tashee knows about being a ghost, too?"
Jadie nodded. "Yeah. Tashee's the one who taught me and Amber how to do it."
"That was clever of her."
Jaddie nodded again. "Tashee knows lots and lots of stuff."
"Sounds like Tashee's very special to you."
For the first time, a slight hint of a smile touched Jadie's lips. "Yeah, she's my best friend. I like her better than anybody."
"Is she in school here? She's not in Mrs. MacLaren's class, is she? Is she a third-grader?"
Jadie looked at me, her expression bemused.
"Well, of course not," she said, her tone implying that i'd asked a very silly question indeed. "That why me and Amber turn into ghosts."
"What do you mean?"
"So's we can visit Tashee. Tashee can't come here. She's been dead more than a year now."

WTH?! This time, i was reading it in my room all alone, in the night. Was reading it to Ryan while he was brushing his teeth. He peeped at the book. After a glance, he went, "UH-OH!"
Wa! His damn fast reaction added more to my fear lah.

CUA CAN?!

Ok, enough is enough. LOL.

I was so bored ytd i managed to complete Twilight Children.

Stomp The Yard turned out to be even better than i thought. The storyline's quite similar to Step Up.
Both are equally fabulous. I rate STY 4.5/5 stars.

I didn't know Ne-Yo acted in the show and expected him to be the main character but unexpectedly and pathetically, he died at the beginning of the show.. Like 15-20mins after the show started. I told Ryan that the director might have felt that he's not good and wanted to kick him out just in case he spoils the whole movie, so, he had to make Ne-Yo die.

I'm finally updating my blog!

I was quite busy for the past few days since i've to complete some SP stuff within 3 freaking short days. I wonder why SP doesn't give us a week to do everything. If someone were to open their letter box only on the 3rd day, wouldn't it be too rushing for him/her?

There were so many things to get done and yea, i was pretty frustrated when things cocked up. For example, i realised i lost my CCA record. I think i'd slip it into one of my textbooks which i gave to my neighbour beginning of this year and am sure i'll never get it back again. So, daddy drove me to school ytd morning to get the written copy from Jas, since she's in sch for GG camp. I'm not sure if SP will accept the written copy since there isn't any NVSS logo on it. I'm not able to get the actual copy until sch reopens 'cos Mr. Chin's not around.

Mom accompanied me to Civic Centre for health check-up in the afternoon. It's just a component needed to enrol into SP. Went for X-tray and had to take off my blouse and bra to put on a X-tray robe.
I wonder how many nipples the male doctor gets to see everyday.

While waiting for my turn to get my height, weight and eyes checked, i managed to rush down to the library to borrow 2 books written by Torey Hayden. I had to use the com to search for the book code and when i found it, i took a piece of paper from the stack of recycled ones provided and guess what it read...?

Daddy drove my whole family and Buta to Suntec City's IT mall since it's the last day and we didn't expect such a HUGE crowd. When we reached there, daddy had to drop Buta, Ryan and i to queue to get in while my parents went to find a parking lot.

We wanted to purchase the 1GB one but all sold out. I wanted the pink one but it wasn't on promotion! WTH.
It was the pink one that made me fell in love with this mp3. Ergh.

The 4GB one cost $348. Well, around there, i can't remember. But the salesman gave us a discount and charged us only $540 for 2!

I told Ryan to get the black one while i get the silver one so that we can exchange mp3s if we were to get bored of the colour.

Woke up at about 8+am because i needed to pee. So i walked to the kitchen and realised 1/2 of the kitchen's flooded with water from the washing machine. Ryan accidentally pulled the pipe out and the water flowed out. If i were to wake up a few mins later, i think i'd drown.

Going her house to celebrate with others tonight!

I felt my chair shake. I thought someone was shaking it but, i realised.. I'm the only one at home. I stood up and walked to the phone. I felt the tiles beneath my feet shake too. Picked up the phone and rang Buta up.

Everything stopped. Everything went back to normal.

I told him and he claimed that i needed some rest after being glued to Audition for so many days.
I told Sheryl and she said her bro's door slammed continuously.
The nxt moment, i saw Shara's nick: did you feel SG trembling?!
And then, Fang Chee told me she felt the vibration too.

I was at the verge of losing everything.. my possessions and my loved ones. I called Mommy but she wasn't in her office. I called Daddy and he told me to stay at the void deck if i were to feel the house shake again. But.. how am i gonna take the lift if i feel the ground beneath me trembling?

I told Sheryl that i'll be the worst victim since i'm living on the top floor of the 12-storey HDB flat. I'll be the first to fly out of the house if there's an earthquake, and then i'll be able to fly to her house and warn her about the impending disaster.

I used to think S'pore's the safest country. Today's incident proved me wrong.

Life is so unpredictable.

I'm finally blogging. Had time to blog on Sat night but i chose to Audition instead. I played Night-4 and my fingers went numb.. nearly went crazy.

Blogged about going out with Ah Wei and Buta but didn't because it's just a set up for Ed's birthday (supposedly) surprise. But i'm sure he knew about it since that's how we celebrated Hebin's birthday the other time too.

Last Thursday

Went to meet Miguel at 5.45pm at Khatib's McDonalds. But since it's raining heavily, i was slightly late. Reached McD and saw Leo sitting outside. Went up to look for Mig. There were so many ppl there we couldn't find 20 seats to celebrate Ed's b'day since there was a BIG b'day celebration there too.




Not sure who Leo's smiling at when only Miguel & i were there.

Buta and Cheney came after a short while followed by Sheryl. Waited nearly an hour for the others to arrived. By then, McD didn't have sufficient seats to accomodate all of us so we held the birthday celebration at New York Pizza again.

Saturday
Spent my afternoon making Guo Dong. I made them MYSELF without anyone helping me!


The guo dong powder.




Dissolved it in 125Oml of water and hit the mixture.


Added longan into the moulds.


Crystallise the mixture and then filter off the excess solvent. HUH?! LOL!!!
Pour the mixture into the moulds.


Place them into the refrigerator to cool.


Take them out after a couple of hours.


And.. I'm done.

Had western food at TPY with family.

Sunday
It's a big day for Buta. Haha! My Gong Gong had invited him over for lunch and Buta was so scared! Hahahhaha~
I told him that i'll give him time to consider if he wants to go and he said,"NO NEED. I'll go. *nth to be scared of what..*"
Er-hem.. he showed me that he has huge balls. lma0!


Mom said that Buta had to sit in front since he is a lil' big sized. Picked up Alfred followed by Buta!

Gong Gong woke up early to buy crabs, prawns, fish and vegetables from Chinatown.


Everything tasted so fresh! And i mean it. No wonder Gong Gong wouldn't mind heading down to Chinatown to buy them.

I had to peel the crab shell for that ass and place the meat on his spoon because he doesn't know how to eat crab since he's a part-time vegetarian, that's what my mom said.
There were several times when i ate the crab myself and he looked at me innocently, waiting to be fed.
LOL.

I took out the guo dong and everyone said it's nice! YAY! Alfred packeted some for Jill before leaving to pick her up from work.
WAHAHAHAA!

Gong Gong wanted us to eat the bananas he bought. He said,"Come, eat lah" and then... skin peeled off by itself when he lifted them and the partially-naked bananas landed gracefully on the table. *thump*
Buta and i couldn't stop laughing! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coming to think of it, i feel sorry. Btw, I don't like to eat bananas. That's why i didn't help out.

Played mahjong the whole afternoon and i think eating 5 bananas helps to increase the speed your mind's working at because Gong Gong won most of the rounds!
There was one round when each of us had to pay $6.80 to him.
That's CRAZY.

We left at about almost 8pm.

Oh ya, Buta and i might wanna work as relief teachers. Whee!

I'm feeling so light-hearted right now, like everything's the way i want it to be.

It feels utterly good to end the week with a phone call from Gong Gong asking me to call Buta over for lunch at his place this Sunday & to have (finally) eaten my Nissin's Tom Yam noodles.

Watched American Idol last night and the 17 yr old girl amazed me when she sang Reflection by Christina Aguilera. I was nearly touched to tears when i saw and heard her sing.
She surprised all the 3 judges with her strong and wide vocal chords, not forgetting that she's only 17.
Very nice.
